ABOUT LIBBY

Libby McKay is an artist, author, illustrator, and intuitive based in Ojai, CA. Through her art, stories, and sessions, she invites curiosity about the natural world, our inner selves, and our animal friends.

Libby’s work with children, adults, and animals grows from a desire to create spaces where imagination, curiosity, and connection can flourish. Whether through storytelling, art, or one-on-one sessions, she aims to help people and animals connect more deeply to themselves and the world around them.

Guided by intuition, Libby bridges both the seen and unseen, offering one-on-one sessions for people and animals while letting that same awareness fuel her illustrations, stories, and creative projects. Her work sparks curiosity, invites wonder, and encourages exploration—whether of nature, the self, or the spaces in between.

Her mission is simple: to nurture a more compassionate, curious, and loving world, and to inspire future generations to share their unique light with it.

the storyteller

Libby loves telling stories for children—stories that carry meaning for adults too. She believes big ideas about the universe, nature, and feelings can be shared in ways children can understand, engage with, and carry forward.

As a child, Libby was captivated by the natural world and the lives of animals, often immersing herself in their environments in her imagination. She draws on these memories to create colorful, playful worlds where kids can explore, connect, and grow alongside nature.

Her debut card deck and guidebook, The Tiny Wild, Earth and Animal Wisdom, is a collection of conversations and stories between children and animals, inviting readers to listen, wonder, and learn.

the intuitive

Libby uses her intuition as an inner compass in all her work. In her one-on-one sessions with people, she helps clients turn inward, release what no longer serves them, and strengthen their own intuitive sense. In her work with animals, she offers a listening presence, a voice, and supportive healing.

She approaches her work with animals as deeply sacred, seeing them as guides and teachers, whether they live in homes or roam wild. Connecting with them provides a pathway back to ourselves, offering insight, comfort, and clarity.

the artist

Libby’s art comes from a place of deep feeling and intuitive vision. Dreams, inner impressions, and the unseen world shape her creative process, letting her translate emotion and energy into form.

Her creations invite others to pause, reflect, and connect with something beyond words—a sense of knowing, a spark of curiosity, and a quiet recognition of the self.
